Modified Marshal Test Apparatus as Per ASTM 5581 ‑ 96.

Details:

The apparatus will be used to measure the resistance to plastic flow of cylindrical specimen of bituminous paving mixture loaded on the lateral surface. The apparatus will be used for mixtures containing asphalt cement and aggregate up to 37.5 mm nominal maximum size.

Supplied complete with following accessories:

Three specimen moulds, cylindrical 6" dia.
Three base plate.
Three collars 6.1/8" dia.
Two compactions hammers, 10.2kg weight and 47.7cm drop.
One specimen extractor - Plate only. (Frame type sample extractor available at extra cost).
One compaction pedestal complete with specimen holder
One breaking head assembly, complete with gauge disc and flowmeter pedestal.
One loading transfer bar.
