Applications :
Water Penetration testing machine with 3 cells to determine the depth of penetration of the water into the concrete (impermeability) under known time and pressure.
Descriptions :
- Concrete Permeability Apparatus consists of three specimen holder assemblies as per the standard IS 516 (Part 2/Sec1): 2018
- Fitted with manifold assembly to hold end Pressure Gauge of 15kg/cm2 (15 Bar) and a chamber Pressure Gauge of 20 kg/cm2 (20 Bar) with another pressure gauge of 15 kg/cm2 (15 Bar) on the chamber to show the inlet pressure.
- An operator can test any - Concrete cylinder of size 150 mm dia. X 160 mm high or cube moulds of 150 x 150 x 150 mm dimensions.
- Supplied complete with Air Compressor
How the measurement is done?
The specimen is put into the test chamber, clamped with suitable flanges and gaskets, and then a known water pressure is applied on the specimen’s surface for prescribed time as requested by the respective Standard, by using a suitable air compressor (accessory). The water penetrated is measured by splitting the specimen.
