Purpose:

The loss in bituminous material when heated is called loss on heating of bituminous material. This test is done to determine the amount of loss of bitumen by certain heating and to determine the amount of water mixed in the bituminous material.

11. Provision to add more shelves, as per requirement of test - Adjustable Shelves to place test samples or Glass wares of varying dimensions
12. The door will contain 100 x 100 mm window with two sheets of toughened glass separated by an air space.
13. The oven will be provided with the circular metal shelf having a diameter of 250mm and with a mechanical means of rotating it at the rate of 5 to 6 rpm.
