This jig is designed for testing of 40 x 40 x 160mm cement prism after breaking in Flexure and also can be adapted with 50mm platen to test 2” or 50mm mortar cement cube specimen. This jig can be fitted to Compression Test Machine.

Designed to test portions of 40x40x160 prisms broken in flexure. Robust frame fitted with an upper platen with spherical seat that moves vertically sustained by a spring. The apparatus has be placed and centered directly on the lower machine platen of a CTM. The total height is 195 mm. Vertical clearance of the compression machine can be adjusted using suitable distance pieces accordingly. CTM of suitable capacity has to be used.
