MARSH CONE FUNNEL FOR GROUT-ASTM C939-FLOW CONE AND MEASURING CYLINDER

MARSH CONE FUNNEL FOR GROUT-ASTM C939

Model Number : EIE-7018(C)

The Marsh Cone, or Flow Cone, method is used to determine the flowability (efflux time) of hydraulic cement grout by measuring the time required for a specific volume of grout to pass through a calibrated orifice. This test helps assess the fluidity and consistency of grout, which is critical for applications such as grouting under base plates, post-tensioning ducts, or other void-filling operations. As per ASTM C939.

Compliance Standards :

ASTM C939

Details :

These test sets are used to determine the time of efflux of a specified amount of fluid hydraulic cement grout, by allowing it to flow through a standardized flow cone. It can be used for with preplaced-aggregate (PA), but can also be used for other fluid grouts. The test method described in ASTM C939 determines the flow ability by measuring the time of discharge of a 1.725 L sample of grout as it is passed through a 0.5" (12.7 mm) orifice at the bottom of the cone. MOC : Made of Mild steel. (Can also supplied in S.S. or Brass on request at extra cost)
