PHOTOMETRIC TEST APPARATUS FOR QUICK DETERMINATION OF SO3 IN CEMENT.

The Model is provided with double light intensity meter, as such useful where the % of SO3 is desired to be known with higher accuracy. TEST PROCEDURE : VERY SIMPLE EASY & QUICK. A solution of cement & HCL in fixed proportion is prepared and is to be gradually poured in photo glass tube of apparatus at the point the photo light through it disappears the reading over photo tube is taken and the % of SO3 is directly known, from calibration chart, against above reading.

With the help of this apparatus the % of SO3 in cement is determined in few seconds time. The operation of the apparatus is very easy and fast. Any auxiliary person can be employed. The operation of apparatus is simple & the results obtained are very accurate. The fast results given by the apparatus also facilitate frequent testing of good number of batches in less time period.
