The Rolling Thin Film Oven complies with international standards including ASTM D2872, AASHTO T240, CNR N.54, EN 12607-1, and IS 15799-2008. It is designed to determine the resistance of bituminous binders to hardening from heat and air through the Rolling Thin Film Oven Test. This unit simulates the short-term aging that occurs during the mixing of binders with aggregates and the finishing of bituminous layers.

- Rotating Shelf: Metal vertical circular carriage with a diameter of 304.8 mm, rotating at 5-60 RPM, accommodating up to eight sample containers.
- Sample Containers: Heat-resistant glass with a 64 mm diameter and 139.7 mm depth.
- Thermometer: ASTM 13C thermometer with calibration traceability to National Standards (optional).
