Features:

• Funnel is cone‑shaped. Top diameter is 230 mm, bottom diameter is 50 mm, height is 550 mm
• The cylindrical part is constituted by a duct (duct size ID is 50 mm ).
• Two horizontal marks are set at respectively 3 and 38 cm from the bottom for the precise measurement of the flowing time
• A trap door is set at the bottom of the duct. Two systems have been used on the different prototypes, a sliding trap or a spring falling trap with turn out to be of simpler use (see pictures)
• A tripod to support the funnel with adjustable legs in order to have it leveled when making the measurement (can be set with a build in spirit level)
• The respect of the dimensions is very important in order to have consistent values to compare (1 mm for the top diameter, 0.1 mm for the cylindrical part and 1 mm for the marks position).
• The O funnel is fabricated from 304 grade stainless steel Material
