Purpose:
This standard describes a method of determination of the temperature below which solid hydrocarbon crystals may form in turbine and reciprocating engine fuels under cooling conditions, which may occur during flight or on airfield.

The entire instrument assembly Consists of unsilvered vacuum flask, jacketed sample tube, brass packing gland, stirrer, stopper, clamps and stand.
Note:
Operator shall arrange acetone or alcohol cooled by solid carbon dioxide as a cooling medium
