The sterilizer to be provided with two automatic sliding doors and shall be fabricated from SS 304. The door will be insulated with R. B. Glass wool insulation held in place by a stainless steel outer cover. The door sealing should be fitted with silicone door gasket. The gasket shall be pressurized by compressed air and retracted by vacuum. The door will be moved vertically via a pneumatic cylinder. Compound gauges, for gasket pressure, with door status indications are to be provided on both loading and unloading sides.
Door Safety Features:
Following door safety features are provided for maximum operator safety.
- Door inter lock to prevent simultaneous opening of both the doors during the process.
- Process‑lock to prevent opening of the non-sterile door after successful completion of the test cycle.
- Process-lock to prevent opening of the door during the process.
