AUTOMATIC SOIL COMPACTOR - (ASTM D558)

Purpose:

The time and effort required to prepare specimens for compaction studies and other test methods can often be costly and time consuming. The EIE Compactor automatically compacts soil specimens, thereby eliminating the laborious hand compaction method. The height and weight of the hammer is adjustable to suit test requirements.

• The hammer itself travels across the mold and the table rotates the mold in equal steps on a base that is extremely stable.
• Hammer, Circular faced, 2.0" (50.8 mm) diameter - foot adjustable to either 2.6 kg or 4.89 kg weight.
• Drop Adjustable to either 310 mm or 450 mm
• Controls Digital counter system, selector switch for either standard proctor test or modified proctor/CBR testing.
• Supplied without moulds.
