The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) test is conducted to determine the strength of subgrade soil and base materials for road and pavement design. The test measures the resistance of a soil sample to penetration by a plunger under controlled conditions of density and moisture. The results are expressed as a percentage of standard load values. As per BS 1377-4, BS 1924. The Instrument can also be manufactured to meet the requirements of ASTM D1883, AASHTO T193, IS: 2720 Part XVI & IS: 9669 and EN 13286-47 with suitable accessories as per the standards.
