1. To determine the Tensile Adhesion Strength for cementitious adhesive
2. To determine Shear Adhesion Strength of Dispersion & Reaction resin adhesive
3. To determine Flexural strength (Degree of deformability) of Cementitious Adhesive and Grouts Material. 

Supplied without the following fixtures / Jaws / Test Grip

1. Shear adhesion Jig/Fixture as per Figure 6 of BIS 15477 (Please see optional accessories)
2. Tensile adhesion bond Jig/Fixture as per Figure 1 & 2 of BIS 15477 (Please see optional accessories)

Test Requirement as per BIS 15477-2019, EN 1348 & ANSI 118.1

• For checking the tensile adhesion strength of the tile adhesive, the UTM will be capable of applying the load to the pull head plate @ 250 ± 50 N/sec (Pull headed plate set, trowel and concrete slab shall be procured at extra cost)
• For checking the shear adhesion strength of the tile adhesive, the UTM will be capable of applying the compression load with displacement @ 5 ± 0.5 mm/min (Shear bond jig compression type shall be procured at extra cost)
• .For checking the deformation of the tile adhesive, the machine will be capable of applying the anvil to the test piece @ 2 mm/min (Deformation jig with additional mixing and compacting accessories shall be procured at extra cost)

Commissioning of universal testing machine:

Customer has to prepare foundation for the machine as per the drawings supplied by the manufacturer. Also, all electrical connections to be completed before the machine arrive and shall render assistance of semi/unskilled labor to complete the commissioning part. Unloading the machine and placing the same on the foundation has to be arranged at the customer end.

NOTE :

THIS MACHINE IS SUITABLE TO TEST TILE ADHESION UPTO TYPE 4. IF TESTING OF TYPE 5 REQUIRED THEN HIGHER MACHINE CAPACITY IS REQUIRED.
