Application 

It is used to measure the resistance to plastic flow of cylindrical specimens of bituminous mixture loaded on the lateral surface. Detailed specification as follows:

EIE Marshal Stability Test Apparatus is supplied with following parts & accessories

1. Three specimen moulds, cylindrical 4" diameter
2. Three base plate.
3. Three collars 4.1/8" diameter
4. Two compactions hammers, 4.5kg weight and 47.7cm drop.
5. One specimen extractor plate - 4". (Frame type sample extractor available at extra cost)
6. One compaction pedestal complete with specimen holder - 4".
7. One breaking head assembly, complete with gauge disc and flow meter pedestal - 4".
8. Loading transfer bar for 4" & 6".
9. Three specimen moulds, cylindrical 6" dia.
10. Three base plate.
11. Three collars 6.1/8" dia.
12. Two compactions hammers, 10.2kg weight and 47.7cm drop.
13. One specimen extractor plate - 6". (Frame type sample extractor available at extra cost)
14. One compaction pedestal complete with specimen holder - 6" 
15. One breaking head assembly, complete with gauge disc and flow-meter pedestal - 6".
16. 100 KN capacity Loading unit motorized with uniform vertical movement of 5.08cm/min. Suitable for operation on 230 volts AC supply. With limit switch to restrict over travel.
17. Suitable for operation on 230 Volts, 50 Hz, AC supply. With limit switch to restrict over travel.
18. One PROVING RING 5000 kg (50 KN) capacity fitted with calibration report
19. One dial gauge 0.01 mm X 25 mm travel.
