Purpose:

Used for determining the relationship between the moisture content and density of compacted soil.

Construction Details of Modified Proctor Mould:

• The moulds include collar, mould body and base plate.
• It will be made of Mild steel having capacity of 2250 cm3
• The mould will be fitted with a detachable base plate and removable extension collar.
• The internal surface of the mould will be smooth.
• Complete with our own test certificate.
• Internal diameter of mould : 150  ± 0.1 mm
• Internal effective height    : 127.3 ± 0.1 mm
• Effective weight of mould  : 07 kg

Construction Details of Modified Proctor Rammer:

1. The rammers are provided with guide sleeve with vent holes.
2. It is made of Metal which is chrome plated
3. The rammer will be equipped with a suitable arrangement for controlling the drop to the IS : 2720 specified height.
