Compliance Standards:
IP 170, IP 33, ISO 13736, IS : 1448 (P:20)
Applications:
Used for determination of the closed cup Flash Point of Petroleum products, their mixtures, other liquids and paints having flash point between 10°C to 70°C. The Abel test is a method developed by the British chemist - Frederick Abel (1827–1902) to determine the flash point of a given sample of petroleum in order to ascertain the temperature at which it could safely be stored or used.
Salient Features:
- Semi automatic operation
- Single push button for stirring & heating operation
- Cooling is achieved by external circulating chiller
- User can test Frequent samples within 5-10 minutes of interval
- Electric igniter operating on 230 Volts, 50 Hz, Single Phase, AC Supply
- Automatic Flash Detection using thermal sensor
- Digital sample reading display with buzzer
- Sample Temperature reading is locked and displayed at Flash Point/Result
- Permanently fixed sample cup lid, stirrer, sample temperature sensor, flash detector with Heating & Cooling facility.
- Sample cup is removable
